The nucleus of San Isidro and El Médano are outstanding, the latter due to its excellent beaches where windsurf is practiced, and La Tejita beach is ideal for enjoying its waters. Close to this area is the famous Cave of Santo Hermano Pedro, who was canonised in 2002 and is an important pilgrimage spot.
